# How do you write the rule for the nth term given 1/3,2/3,3/3,4/3,5/3,...?

It would obviously be $\frac{n}{3}$
Note : often there is comfusion between $n$th term and ${u}_{n}$ (or whatever letter in stead of $u$)
$n$th means that the first number is the first in the row i.e. the first term, and so on.
With the ${u}_{n}$-notation the first term is usually called ${u}_{0}$, so the $n$th term is then ${u}_{n - 1}$
