How does one use a TI Inspire graphing calculator to find a path of linear regression?
I'm in algebra II and my teacher's instructions are very unclear, and when I ask for help she'll get me started with it and then tell me to follow the instruction sheet, but the sheet doesn't make sense to me, and even if I tell her that she doesn't help.

I wrote a long explanation.
Explanation:
You have to open a new document, press menu, add lists and spreadsheets. where it says A click on that and change it to x and where it says B on the top, change it to y.
Then type in all the x coordinates under the x column and all the y coordinates under the y column. Make sure the coordinates correspond. So if one of your coordinates is (5,6) on row 1, going from left to right, 5 should be in the first box and then 6 should be in the second.
Go to the right on a new column. Press menu 4, 1, 3. Where it says x list put x and y list put y. Then press okay.
Now press ctrl doc 5. On the bottom of the screen, where it says click to add variable, add x there. You may need to scroll down. On the left, where it says click to add variable, add the variable y there.
Press menu, analyze(4), regression(6), show linear(1). You now have the regression line and equation. If the equation doesnt show try clicking on the line. Sorry this is so long, hope this helps.
