  • Chlorophyll A works best at the " VIB " wavelength region of VIBGYOR

  • Chlorophyll B works best at the " OR " wavelength region of VIBGYOR

  • Higher the frequency of the electromagnetic spectrum band, lower is it's wavelength ( Red, orange falls in the 480nm and upwards region and Violet, Indigo, Blue fall in the 680nm and downwards region

  • This is how electromagnetic spectrum affects photosynthesis rate; the rate being maximum at both ends of the electromagnetic spectrum
