Earth belongs to solar system. So, it affects life on earth.

Sun is the centre of solar system and the only star in solar system.

Nuclear fusion on sun is responsible for what we call 'sunlight' which is ultimate source of energy. Life would have been imposible without sun. Autotrophs produce their food in presence of sunlight because they derieve their energy from sun. The temperature would have been simply too low for life to exist.

Jupiter is also responsible for life on Earth. Jupiter is a massive giant which curves space time too much and pulls meteorites towards it and prevents life on Earth from being disturbed or extinction.

Moon. Though moon is small in size but its role can't be undersetimated.
