Eventhough this has nothing to do with English, i'll just answer it anyways XD.
The answer is #4x^2 + 12x + 9#

Explanation:

Based on the question,
since it states the length of the square, the area of the square is basicly the length to the power of 2.
This is because a square has equal sides, therefore, the equation to expand is #(2x+3)^2#
