How does weather affect life on earth?
1 Answer
Many ways both good and bad.
Explanation:
This is a very complicated question.
The vast majority of weather events negatively impact life on Earth. Hurricanes and tornadoes are the greatest violent weather events and can cause death and destruction for all life in the area. Droughts caused by weather patterns have resulted in millions of human deaths not to mention the other life in those areas.
That being said, weather is the primary mover of the water cycle which is essential for terrestrial life. Additionally, there are certain life forms (Jack Pine for instance) that require a forest fire to continue the life cycle, the majority of forest fires are caused by weather (lightning).
Some examples of weather affecting life are:
-birds migrating during winter seasons
-some plants dying/ turning browner when there is lack of rain
