#2257 (kJ)/(kg)# must be removed from the steam.

The referenced website says "The latent heat of vaporization is the amount of heat required to convert a unit mass of a liquid into vapor without a change in temperature." A table on the page says that the heat of vaporization of water is #2257 (kJ)/(kg)#.

So converting steam of 100c to water of 100c would require removing 2257 kJ of heat from each kg of the steam.

I hope this helps,
