How to sketch the graph `f(x) = e^(x) + 1` ?

Using the in-built graphing tool we get graph as shown in figure above.
It is an exponential graph. We note that at `x=0`,

`f(x)=e^x+1`

becomes

`f(0)=e^0+1=2`

For large `+ve` values of `x`, function approaches `oo` exponentially.
For `-ve` values of `x`, function approaches `1`
