Explanation:

Because we are just looking at students that dislike watching TV, we can ignore everyone else for the purposes of this problem.

#30# students dislike watching TV, #10# of those like reading and #20# do not.

We can set these up as fractions:

#(10 " like reading")/(30 " total") = 1/3#

#(20 " do not like reading")/(30 " total") = 2/3#

So, if you have a student that does not like watching TV, there is a #2/3# chance that that student will not like reading either.
