Human beings have a variety of traits. How are they transmitted through generations? Are all the traits present in a single DNA or do they have separate arrangements for the same?

Humans have traits passed on through the process of sexual reproduction - specifically Meiosis, and each trait is different based on the DNA arrangements.

Explanation:

Each parent takes one of their Somatic cells with duplicated Chromosomes so that there is 4 of each NUMBER and SEX chromosome. Then they undergo Meiosis to divide into 4 gamete cells so each has one of each number and sex chromosome. When it combines with that gamete of their partner, the kid will get half their chromosomes from mom and half from dad.

Each trait is different, but many are found in multiple sections of chromosomes. Despite the fact that they effect the same characteristic, but because the traits change (such as eye or hair color does) the sequence of nucleotides and the DNA changes person to person.
