#f(1) = 16#

Explanation:

I should assume that the question should be;

#f(x) = (3x - 7)^2# and not #f(x) = (3x = 7)^2#

If that is the case then..

Where by when, #f(1)#

Which means in terms of #x, 1# should be replaced with it..

Therefore;

#f(x) = (3x - 7)^2, x = 1#

#f(x) = (3x - 7)^2#

#f(x) = (3x - 7)(3x - 7)#

#f(x) = 9x^2 - 21x - 21x + 49#

#f(x) = 9x^2 - 42x + 49#

#x = 1#

#f(1) = 9(1)^2 - 42(1) + 49#

#f(1) = 9 - 42 + 49#

#f(1) = 16#
