If f(x)=4x^3-4x^2+10 then how do you find f(-2)?

Just put $- 2$ in place of the $x$'s

$f \left(x\right) = 4 \cdot {x}^{3} - 4 \cdot {x}^{2} + 10$

So:
$f \left(- 2\right) = 4 \cdot {\left(- 2\right)}^{3} - 4 \cdot {\left(- 2\right)}^{2} + 10$
$= 4 \cdot \left(- 8\right) - 4 \cdot \left(4\right) + 10$
$= - 32 - 16 + 10$
$= - 38$

$f \left(- 2\right) = - 38$
