If I have 2 cylinders, Cylinder A having a diameter of 16ft. and a height of 40ft. And Cylinder B with a missing Diameter and a height of 192in. Then how can I find the missing diameter? (I took a screenshot of the problem for a visual)

As the cylinders are similar the ratio of their diameters is same as ratio of their heights measured in same unit.

So

#d/16=(192/12)/40#

#=>d/16=16/40=2/5#

#=>d=32/5=6.4# ft
