you have to do 16s rRNA sequencing or PCR or genome sequencing

use of 16srRNA which will allow you to look at which genus does this bacterial sample it belongs to
second
is of PCR with multiple tandem repeats. which will create a DNA fingerprint which will lead to formation of species specific formation of the fingerprint and then comparing with the known ones
