Observational proofs made things very clear.Slowly scientists approved the heliocentric model..

Explanation:

Crescent phase of venus and Mercury possible only in heliocentric model.
Galileo found the moons of Jupiter..So there are bodies orbiting other than earth was proof.
Kepler's laws and elliptical orbits made observation data match with ca;calculation..
