# If the measures of the three angles of a triangle are x, 2x-20, and 3x-10, the what is this type of triangle?

The sum of three angles of a triangle is 180 degrees.

x + 2x -${20}^{o}$ + 3x -${10}^{o}$ = ${180}^{o}$

3x -${20}^{o}$ + 3x -${10}^{o}$ = ${180}^{o}$

6x -${30}^{o}$ = ${180}^{o}$

add ${30}^{o}$to both sides

6x - ${30}^{o}$ + ${30}^{o}$ = ${180}^{o}$ + ${30}^{o}$

6x = ${210}^{o}$

dividing both sides by 6

6x /6 = ${210}^{o}$ / 6

x = ${35}^{o}$
