From the figure we observe that two angles of the right triangle have been given.

Third angle can be found as #=90-45=45^@#
Hence, given triangle is an isosceles right triangle.

#=># Base#=# Perpendicular#=#8 units

We know that in a in a right triangle hypotenuse can be found from Pythagoras theorem.

#"Hypotenuse"=sqrt("Base"^2+"Perpendicular"^2)#

For the given figure

#x=sqrt(8^2+8^2)#
#=>x=sqrt(8^2(1+1))#
#=>x=8sqrt2#
