A Crest is a ridge or raised surface on the skeleton.
Two examples of crests in the body would be the Iliac crest which forms the top of the pelvic bone. And the Medial Sacral Crest on the sacrum which are created by the spinous process of the fused vertebrae that form the sacrum.
