Is an endothermic process an example of a physical or chemical change?

Endothermic just means that heat has to be supplied to the proces to keep it going. It can be fysical or chemical.


Examples of physical endothermic processes:
The melting of ice, the evaporation of water.

Examples of chemical endothermic processes:
The electrolysis of water #2H_2O->2H_2+O_2#
The 'burning' of limestone to get quicklime: #CaCO_3->CaO+CO_2#
