#"My word........."#

Explanation:

A chemical element is one of the hundred or so substances that CANNOT be chemically interconverted or broken down into simpler substances. Elemental hydrogen occurs as a bimolecular gas under normal conditions, i.e. #H_2#. Some chemists refer to it as #"dihydrogen"# in order to emphasize its molecularity. Apart from the Noble Gases, all the elemental gases are bimolecular: i.e. #"dihydrogen"#; #"dinitrogen"#; #X_2# etc.
