Yes but no.
Explanation:
It is possible that an asteroid containing a virus could strike Earth, as virus can survive the vacuum of space. However, the virus would have to be able to survive extreme radiation in space and extreme temperatures of entry into the atmosphere and the resultant explosion of impact. Not to mention the extended period of time that space travel would involve would require the virus to be outside a host of millions of years. Given those criteria there is no way a virus could reach Earth via an asteroid.
