Digestion but of different sorts

Explanation:

Lysosomes are special organelles that digest parts of the cells, and there are some that digest cells whole.
A vacuole is simply a sort of cellular shuttle with a protein coat that moves material within the cell, though it interacts with cell surface as well. An activated factor allows it to carry digestive enzymes with a protective coating and it can either temporarily become a mini lysosomes and digest material or mature and become a permanent lysosome.
-that's the simple explanation anyway.
