Multiplying and Dividing Algebraic Fractions PLS HELP?

#(2x)/(4(a+3))×(3a)/(15x)#

The answer is

#(a)/(10(a+3))#

But i dont know how they got to that step. Can someone please help me.

Just mutiply the top and bottom parts together to get

#=(2x*3a)/(15x*4(a+3))#

#=(6ax)/(60x(a+3)#

Now, the #x#'s cancel.

#(6acancelx)/(60cancelx(a+3)#

#(6a)/(60(a+3)#

Here, we can still divide by the greatest common factor of #6# and #60#, which is #6#, to further reduce the fraction.

#:.=a/(10(a+3))#
