there is a large variety of plants in the kingdom Plantae

Explanation:

so following types of plants form major groups basically the phylum

  1. bryophyta contains mosses
  2. pteridophyta contains ferns
  3. gymnosperms contains coniferous plants
  4. angiosoperm contains monocot and dicots.
  5. Algae

each of this phylum is then again divided into various number of classes containing various plants type
