If I understand correctly, you are looking for sample AS level mathematics questions.
Example exam questions can be found on sites like http://www.aqa.org.uk/
Note that there are contributors on Socratic who can help with answering such questions if you get stuck or need further explanation. Just ask under the relevant topic.
There are not that many free sites, other than the one George C mentioned. The majority of material is American and not specific to AS level. There is an online interactive site called MathsNetAlevel, but it is not free. It has all the different syllabuses, with step by step solutions, and proper exam questions. It can be purchased as entire syllabus, which covers all modules in AS, A2 and A level Further maths, or any three modules. It is sold through a company called Chartwell Yorke who specialise in educational software. It may be worth checking out.

I think some of the examination boards have past papers you can download, but they don't have answers. If you google them you will find them easy enough. Your teachers should be able to help you with the course and offer advice, after all, that's what they're paid for.
I'm not sure what you mean in your question about simple equation level questions. Some of the question on Socratic are at further maths level and some are bordering on undergraduate level.
