Explanation:

#(1-x)/(1+sqrt(x))#

Multiply the numerator and denominator by the conjugate of the denominator:
#(1-x)/(1+sqrt(x))xx(1-sqrt(x))/(1-sqrt(x))#

Remember the general case #(a+b)(a-b)=a^2-b^2#
#((1-x)(1-sqrt(x)))/(1-x) =1-sqrt(x)#
