Some answers can't be summarised so what to do when you write an answer?

I wanted to know that if answers can't be summarised or the summarised answer is long for the 1st answer box then what can I do in that condition.
Thank You.

Here's what you could do.

Explanation:

First of all, it's important to realize that the Answer box and Explanation box format is there to help you get a feel about what answer structure is most helpful to the students.

Now, you don't have to bend over backwards to summarize an answer. Like you said, some answers are either very difficult to summarize, or the summarized part is simply too long.

In such cases, you an use the Answer box for things like

  • See explanation
  • Refer to the explanation
  • Here's what's going on here
  • Here's what you could do #-># I used this one for this answer (haha :D)
  • Here's what I got #-># my current favorite
  • Here's one way to think about this
  • There's no quick answer here
  • This answer can't be summarized
  • Full explanation below
  • One explanation could be...
  • My answer would be...

and so on. Basically, you can use the answer box as a way to ease into the explanation.

So don't worry if you can't summarize an answer. The explanation is still the most important part about an answer, so if you got that covered, you're good to go! :)
