Intensive property of a substance which is not bothered by the quantity of substance taken into consideration where extensive property is dependent on the amount of that substance taken into account .
Specific heat of a substance is the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of one gram of that substance by one degree celsius which does not depend on the amount of that substance .
