Width=6 and Length=7

Explanation:

To do this you have to make your own equation
You know that Length is 5 less than twice the width so just write
2w-5 w being the width
Next you have to know perimeter equation for a rectangle which is P=2(l+w)
So plug in since you know P
26=2(2w-5) + 2w
Now you have your perimeter equal to your length plus width
26=4w-10+2w
26=6w-10
36=6w
w=6
Now you have width to equal 6 and plug into you length equation to find length
2(6)-5
12-5=7
