Explanation:

A number can be n. Then its consecutive is n+1 and the following consecutive is n+2.

We are asking then

n+(n+1)+(n+2)=-27

or

3n+3=-27
3n=-30
n=-10 and, consequently, the other two are n+1=-9 and n+2=-8.

The three numbers are -10, -9, -8 and the sum is -27.
