We can write the equation of S.H.M for this particle as,

#y = a sin omegat# (where, #a# is the amplitude)

So,phase at #t=3s# is #omega*3 = (2pi)/T *3 = (6pi)/12=pi/2#

And,phase at #t=4s# is, #(8pi)/12 = (2pi)/3#

So,phase difference between the two position is # (2pi)/3 - pi/2 =pi/6#
