I can think of three:
1) Censorship;
2) Propaganda;
3) Control/Segregation.

Explanation:

During WWII in every nation involved in the fighting censorship was introduced to try to limit possible leaks of important information and avoid communicating defeatist or dangerous ideas.
As an example soldiers' letters were censored to avoid to give out the location of their unit or to communicate the sadness or tragic situation of the men.

Propaganda was used to keep up the spirit of the population showing victorious soldiers and successful operations. Also, the enemy was mocked (even through the use of animation movies) to undermine the doubts in final victory and show that the enemy was destined to succumb.

I added Control or segregation to include a more secret and sinister aspect; the action of, say, secret police/agencies to control a specific group of people (Italians, Germans, Japanese) that lived on the territory to arrest possible spies or collaborators. This could even lead to the deportation and rounding up of specific ethnic groups to control them and avoid any interference (possibly negative) with the population.

It is difficult to judge upon the morality of these activities, in particular about the last one. A lot of American citizens of Japanese origin but with strong pro-American feelings were forced into captivity without reason and suffered greatly. Consider on the other hand that a lot of Japanese/American left alone could have been the target of persecution from the population...

Paranoia led even to imagine enemy invasions/bombings/landings in places that were obviously unreachable by the enemy.

On the other hand the first two actions helped to maintain the moral and avoid communication of vital information to the enemy that could produce the loss of lives and for this I think that were justified.
