Generally, two intersecting lines form two pairs of congruent angles (they are called vertical).
If lines are perpendicular to each other, all four angles are congruent, they are all right angles.

If lines are perpendicular, all angles #/_A# and #/_B# are right angles and all are congruent to each other, as seen on this figure:

Angles #/_1# and #/_3# are still vertical. So are #/_2# and #/_4#.
