There is only 1 way to obtain this answer.

Look at the graph and observe that there is only 1 complete cycle.

Part b.

There are 2 ways to obtain this answer.

  1. Look at the graph and observe the value of x where the cycle completes. x = 2pi, therefore, the "Period" = 2pi

  2. Referring the form y = Asin(Btheta) and the formula

"Period" = (2pi)/B

We observe that the value of B in the equation y = 2sin(theta) is 1, therefore, the "Period" = 2pi

Part c.

There are several ways to obtain this answer; I shall give 2.

  1. Look at the graph and observe that it start at 0 and achieves a maximim of 2; this means that the "Amplitude" = 2

  2. Referring the form y = Asin(Btheta) and the formula

"Amplitude" = |A|

We observe that the value of A in the equation y = 2sin(theta) is 2, therefore, the "Amplitude" = 2
