The animal kingdom can be further divided into 5 sub-categories: MR. FAB:

Mammals
Reptiles
Fish
Amphibians
Birds

They fall into a classification category of their own!

Explanation:

Mammals are warm-blooded creatures just like birds. However, all mammals drink heir mothers milk when they are newborn. Birds do not. Also, they hatch from eggs)

They cannot fall into the reptile or amphibian category as they are warm-blooded animals, whereas they (reptiles & amphibians) are cold-blooded.

They are not fish as they cannot swim and do not possess gills or scales.
