Explanation:

The protozoa are a former kingdom (now it is called Protista) of unicellular, eukaryotic organisms. Some examples include cilia and amoeba. They are heterotrophs, meaning that they have to absorb organic carbon compounds to make and synthesize their own energy to live. All protozoa can be considered microscopic, as they are too small to see with their own human eye.

Note that some protozoa are harmless (such as Entamoeba coli), while some are harmful (such as Entamoeba histolytica).
