All energy is some part of the electromagnetic spectrum. We get it all from the sun.

Explanation:

Most of the “dangerous” forms (to the left of light on the graph) are absorbed or reflected by the earth’s ionosphere. Visible and infrared contribute to heating the atmosphere for us.
