When plotting #y=3^x-1/(x!)# You get the following graph:

The points that intersected x = 1, x = 2 and x = 3 were your answers.
The three points were #(1,2),(2,8.5),(3,26.833)#

Desmos will give your answers to 3dp so unless your teacher wants an exact answer you have it!
