The transitions between one level of organization and information to another form of organization and information.


The biggest and least understandable is the transition from non living material with no informational content to the first living cell.

The transition from a single cell organism to a multiple celled organism. This required the information for cells to work together and specialize.

A side transition but critical was the development of photosynthesis. How did simply one celled organisms develop the complex chemical reactions required to turn light energy into chemical energy.

Then the transition from a prokaryotic cell to the more complex eukaryotic cell with a nucleus and multiple organelles
