Seed coat, cotyledon, plumule, radicle, axis etc., are the main parts of an Angiospermic seed.
Explanation:
- Seed coat is an outer and protective covering of the seeds. Testa and tegmen are the parts of the seed coat.
- Cotyledon/s are the reserve food for future plant. Mainly starch is found in the cotyledon. On the basis of the number of the cotyledons, the plants are monocots or dicots.
- Plumule and radicle are the future shoot and root, respectively. They are joined at the axis. Some modifications are found in the seeds for their dispersal. Thank you
