What are the plaintiffs seeking for their children in Brown v. Board of Education?
In the singular case of Brown vs Board of Education, Mr. Brown wanted his African American daughter to go to a white school.
The reason why Mr. Brown wanted his daughter to go to the white school was that the white school was only 1 block away from his home while the school that his daughter went to much farther away. Of course, Brown vs Board of Education was the case name chosen to represent the series of cases that also dealt with this topic. There were also several other Supreme Court cases going on about school segregation.
