Explanation:

By definition, the nervous system is the system that receives, integrates and send an accordingly response to information given. Of course, that information can be from:

the outside ( being threatened by a wolf )

the inside ( when CO2 concentration in the blood gets higher than it should )

After the nervous system receives these informations and processes them, it can send some responses, like:

• Release of adrenaline, which will help you defend or run from the wolf ( this is called " the fight or flight response " ) in various ways

• Increase the respiratory frequency in order to provide more oxygen to the body
