Marx held that once the working class achieved class consciousness and recognized their exploitation by the capitalist class, they would organize themselves to revolt against that oppression. Eventually, the capitalist class would be overthrown and all of the structures and institutions (legal, social, political etc) would be re-established to fulfil the needs of the working class.
