What did Russia's withdrawal from the war mean for the Allies?

It meant an increased pressure on the western front due to the release of German troops from the fighting in the east.


You can see this increased pressure considering the breaking of the Italian front at Caporetto where a combined Austrian-German push succedeed in pierce the Italian lines; also on the western front you have the last big German push with operation called "St. Michael Offensive".
