All organisms depend on a variety of things.

Explanation:

The main components are:

Water - This is a source of hydration and is required by all bodies.

Food - Whether this comes from plants (which are consumed by herbivores), other organisms (carnivores eat other animals in order to retrieve nutrients from the plants which they've consumed), or by means of photosynthesis (undertaken by plants which convert sunlight, water, and nitrogen into glucose - plant sugar - giving off oxygen as a bi-product)

The sun - This isn't necessarily required by all organisms (but mostly plants), however it does play an important role in development of the body (especially in sight). As it it also the main and biggest source of renewable energy, almost all organisms can depend on the sun, except for ones that cannot receive sunlight, such as organisms at the bottom of ocean.
