Height is 8 feet

The area of each triangle : #240/4=60ft^2#

The base is 12 feet, #1/2 xx 12 xx h=60# so the slant height is 10 feet

If we take the slant height, the perpendicular height and half the base we make a right angled triangle.

#10^2-6^2= h^2#

#64=h^2#

# h= 8#
