What does “ real image” mean how can you obtain a “ real image” ? Explain.

Real image means when the image can be placed on a screen,that means light rays after reflection or refraction meets at a point which exists in reality.
But for virtual image,this point is found by backward extension of reflected or refracted light rays,so the point doesn't exist in reality.
For a convex lens,putting the object at any place,except at distance equals or less than focal length you get real image,similarly in case of concave mirror excepting for the object placed at a distance equals to focal length or less than that you get real image.
