Drinking water in India and Bangladesh is VERY bad.

Explanation:

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), "the contamination of groundwater by arsenic in Bangladesh is the largest poisoning of a population in history, with
millions of people exposed". Further info about this can be found at http://www.who.int/bulletin/archives/78(9)1093.pdf.

I cannot find much about India, but being an Indian-American, I can tell you it is very bad and most people in cities drink bottled water and in villages get water from rivers nearby.
