Anadiplosis is the repetition of the last word of a clause within a sentence. It is usually done for emphasis.

Some examples of anadiplosis to illustrate:

She held on to her memories, her memories of happier days gone by.

This land is ours, ours to cherish and nurture.

She gave her word, her word to remain true to her calling.
