I'll explain the basic rules of quantitative and qualitative.
Explanation:
Quantitative is when you are able to use numbers or a numerical value to describe a process.
For example, grams, Kelvin and other meaasurement units.
Qualitative observation is when you use your observation skills to describe a process.
Ex: The solution turned red, there is smoke being emitted from the beaker.
